Scotia. We were young and we were looking to buy our first home. We
stopped in at a realtors to get directions and we met Terry. Terry took
us to the house we were looking for and spent some time with us to help
figure out what we wanted. By the end of the session we were comfortable
and confident Terry was the realtor for us. Terry took us to many open
houses and was upfront and honest about things that he saw. It was nice
to have his experience to help us out. After a few weeks of searching
Terry helped us find the perfect house for us.
Working in the airline industry you get to move around a lot. 4 years
later when I was being transferred again we called Terry to sell our
home for us. Terry came out and had chat with us about what to expect
the processes we may need to go through. We priced the house and put it
on the market. The house was on the market for a month when the bottom
fell out of the economy. My wife and I were quite worried because we had
invested a lot of time and money fixing up our home. We wanted to make
sure that we got our money back. Terry came out and had a good candid
conversation about the realities of the house market. We agreed a price
drop was in order and Terry ramped up the advertising on the house.
Right after that we started getting lookers and offers. We had 2 offers
fall through which Terry was very informative and supportive. Finally
the 3rd offer worked and it was the best offer we had. Life is like that
:-).
Terry was great to work with. He as very informative and supportive. He
adjusted his personality to match mine and my wife's (we are quite
different). I would recommend Terry as a realtor to anyone who was
looking for a kind, hard worker who knew his stuff.

Hi Terry, I do not think I ever emailed you to say thank you for everything you did for me and Steven. We talk to other people looking to buy, and they are saying what a nightmare everything is....from their agent to their mortgage broker. Anyway apart from the stress of knowing if we had the money in the bank, it was pretty easy and smooth. We thought it was too easy. I am wondering if you travel to Halifax and surrounding areas to show homes for people? I know someone who is having a really bad go of things right now. First time home buyer as well. I think their agent is still in High School, he is that young. Can you let me know please?
